Science
This subject area involves a comprehensive curriculum that covers
virtually every science studied. The physical sciences, biological
sciences, applied sciences, and Earth sciences will all be explored
at different times throughout the core curriculum.
The
curriculum will regularly include not only the weekly science lessons
but also introduce a science book that correlates to the lesson.
For example, if a weekly lesson is named "Deep Sea Fish,"
the weekly curriculum may include a corresponding book, such as,
"I Want To Be an Oceanographer " This introduces the student
to the field of oceanography at the same time that they are being
introduced to the different species of fish.
The number of science lessons will vary according to the level
of curriculum chosen. Level A will receive a science lesson at least
once or twice a month. Level B will receive at least one or two
science lessons each week. Level C will receive at least two and
often three science lessons each week. Levels A will receive a science
book at least once a month, Level B will receive a science book
at least twice month, and Level C will receive a science book at
least three or four times a month.
The subjects covered in the science lessons will include,

The science curriculum is an extremely diverse, challenging
and engaging subject area. Students of all ages will gain an unusually
broad scope of knowledge as well as an in-depth comprehension of
science and the amazing aspects of the physical world around us.
Time2Learn Academy will also offer an additional Science Lab for
those students that want to further enhance their science experience
and knowledge. The science lab utilizes more projects and exercises
than the science lessons included in the Academic Program and can
be a wonderful supplement and enhancement for those interested in
focusing on expanding their knowledge about the world of science.
