Discover e-Reading has six, self-paced levels delivered with sound, pictures, interactive exercises, practice sheets and success charts that are easy to use and encourage all students to be successful. The six levels include:

Level 1: Reading Readiness
Level 2: Beginning Vowel Sounds
Level 3: Fundamental Reading 1
Level 4: Fundamental Reading 2
Level 5: Long Vowel Sounds
Level 6: Review of Levels 1 - 5

Regardless of age or reading experience, all Discover e-Reading students must begin and complete Level 1 - Reading Readiness. The Reading Readiness lessons teach students to properly sound out the letters in the English Language. If your student is a new reader, then this should be the first time they "hear" how letters actually sound. If the student is already reading, but is "stuck," this will free them from their barriers by interactively teaching them the correct way to "sound out" the alphabet via our multi-media presentations.

After Level 1 - Reading Readiness has been successfully completed, students can move on to Level 2 and beyond. The material is progressive and each level is designed to teach the student a greater level of comprehension and reading proficiency.

At each level a child is required to use verbal, written and memory skills to master the information. The lessons are designed to encourage parents to reinforce the information learned using the additional practice sheets and other resource materials that can be printed out.

Parents and teachers will be amazed at how quickly and easily students will master reading skills using Discover e-reading. The materials are designed to achieve results, and when the program is applied properly by progressively allowing the student to master each level in order (Levels 1- 5 and the review level 6), the goal of reading proficiency is realized.

This section focuses on how to use Discover e-Reading more effectively and to make the greatest positive impact on your child's results. The weekly courses are very easy to run and the actual lessons are self-running in most cases. Here we give you some excellent tips to ensure that your child will have the most interesting, enjoyable and rewarding experience possible - and will achieve the result of becoming an advanced reader in a very short period of time.

The program is self-paced and as a result requires the guidance of the parent or teacher. For the younger child the parent will be required to learn the sounds and help reinforce the materials that are presented, both online and in print. This is especially important in providing the printed materials and completing the practice sheets that are included in each level.

The key tips to consider:

• Let your child dictate the pace.
• Establish a comfortable setting (interruption free).
• Set a schedule and stick to it.
• Know when your child is "on."
